SPORTS digest Aldridge named A-10 Co-Player of the Year


WASHINGTON

Davidson forward Peyton Aldridge, a LaBrae graduate, was named the Atlantic 10 Co-Player of the year along with St. Bonaventure guard Jaylen Adams.

The A-10 announced the award on Tuesday. Aldridge was also named first team All-Conference. He was a second-team selection last season.

The former Viking led the conference in scoring with 21.3 points and 7.8 rebounds per game. He scored 45 at St. Bonaventure on Feb. 27, the most by an A-10 player this season.
