Heritage Center to host series


The July installment of the 2018 Sunday Speaker Series will feature a lecture designed to explore the history of how society dresses. Patricia Edmonson, Western Reserve Historical Society, will give a presentation titled “Wow Factor: 150 Years of Collecting Bold Clothes” from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Kinsman House, 303 Mahoning Ave. Wow Factor examines how fashion triggers emotion with beauty, craftsmanship, rarity, and humor. Light refreshments will be served. This program is free. Library to host events


Lepper Library will offer the following programs: one-on-one computer and smart device help every Monday in July from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Clothes Pin Wreath Craft for adults at 6 p.m. Monday; Mystery book club meeting at 6 p.m. July 5.
