The Canfield Wrestling Booster Club invites the community to join its 10th annual Golf Outing.

Individual golfers and foursomes can register for the event, which is scheduled for noon on Aug. 4 at Millcreek’s South Golf Course. Corporate and hole sponsorships are also available.

Attendance costs $80 per player or $320 per foursome. Your tax-deductible donation includes not only greens fees and cart, but lunch and dinner as well. Lunch and check-in will be at noon, and golfing will begin with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. The event will follow a four-person scramble format. There will also be a 50/50 raffle, Chinese auction and prizes awarded.

Corporate sponsorships are available for $500 and hole sponsorships are $100. Corporate sponsorship includes recognition in the main tent and at home wrestling events. Hole sponsorship includes a sign with your message on a tee box.

Golf and sponsor registration information can be found on the ‘FORMS’ link of the Canfield Wrestling Club’s website: www.canfieldwrestlingclub.com. The event is pre-registration only, and no walk-ups will be accepted.

All monies raised benefit the Canfield Wrestling program, which boasts approximately 100 members ranging from ages 6-19. Canfield Wrestling has become one of the elite programs in the state finishing runner-up the past three seasons, winning two district championships, sectional and league championships. The program has produced 67 league champions, 38 state placers and nine state champions. Congruently, the funds will be used to offset costs for travel, meals, coaches and supplies.
