Easter Seals offers hot, nutritious meals weekdays in Columbiana and Mahoning counties for people 60 or older and their spouses (regardless of age). Reservations are required three days in advance. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Call 330-884-2513 to make reservations, for serving locations or to arrange for home-delivered meals for seniors who are homebound. Transportation is available by calling 330-884-2511. The program office is at 299 Edwards St., Youngstown.


Wednesday, June 13: Baked ziti, Italian vegetables, diced carrots, bread, juice and milk

Thursday, June 14: Pork fritter, Brussels sprouts, corn, pineapple tidbits, bread, cookie and chocolate milk

Friday, June 15: Breakfast burrito, tater tots, juice, cookie and milk

Monday, June 18: Manicotti, zucchini, carrots, applesauce, bread, cookie and milk

Tuesday, June 19: Macaroni and cheese, winter vegetables, peas, peaches, wheat bread, cookie and milk


The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers well-balanced meals at seven locations in Trumbull County for people 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or older. Reservations must be made two working days in advance by 2 p.m. There is no income requirement. Donations are accepted for meals. To make a reservation or for information, call 330-675-2486. The office is at 2959 Youngstown Road SE, Warren.

Wednesday, June 13: Chicken parmesan over rotini with sauce, wheat bread with margarine, parmesan zucchini, corn, seasonal fruit, ambrosia salad or sugar-free cookie and milk

Thursday, June 14: Barbecued pork ribette on a sandwich roll, potato wedges with ketchup, baked beans, mandarin oranges, bread pudding or sugar-free pudding and milk

Friday, June 15: Roast beef with gravy, wheat bread with margarine, whipped potatoes, mixed vegetables, pineapple tidbits, brownie or angel food cake and milk

Monday, June 18: Grilled chicken cordon bleu on a sandwich roll, parmesan potatoes, carrots, mandarin oranges, mini muffin or vanilla wafers and milk

Tuesday, June 19: Barbecued pulled pork on a sandwich roll, baked beans, summer corn, seasonal fruit, regular or sugar-free gelatin and milk
