Valley native’s artworks on display


An exhibition of works by Youngstown native Norman Hughes, from his early pencil observational drawings to large scale landscape and portrait paintings, is on display through Aug. 7 at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh gallery, 1400 Penn Ave., downtown.

Hughes’ art reflects his admiration of the work of Norman Rockwell and other American painters.
