Unauthorized pizza purchase delivers fraud charge

BOARDMAN — An unauthorized pizza order resulted in felony charges for a Youngstown woman.

Delphine Black, 29, of East Judson Avenue, showed up at Papa John’s to pick up an order after the woman whose credit card was used to order the pizza alerted police to charges she didn’t recognize, according to a police report.

Black told police she and the victim were close friends.

“I copied the credit card number one time when I was with her,” Black reportedly told police. “She’s going to kill me for this.”

The $7.99 pizza resulted in a misdemeanor misuse of a credit card charge along with felony telecommunications fraud and identity fraud charges.

Black also had warrants out of Trumbull County on a probation violation and felony theft of drugs charges.
