Girard man will be arraigned in exposure incident

GIRARD — A Girard man is scheduled to be arraigned at the Girard Municipal Court Tuesday for a public indecency charge.

Police say Dustin Beach, 32, stood in the middle of the intersection of E. Liberty and Stewart Avenue and exposed his genitals to drivers at about 4:50 a.m. May 25, according to a police report.

Beach was wearing a bathrobe that was open in the front and was hyperventilating, the report said.

Beach told officers his girlfriend was in trouble and someone was in his house. When officers checked on the girlfriend, she said nobody broke in the home and said Beach has a history of cocaine addiction.

Beach then admitted to police he used cocaine before the incident.

He had called dispatch earlier in the morning saying he was afraid someone was going to break in because he heard voices outside.
