More state track Saturday from Columbus


AUSTINTOWN FITCH — Lauren Dolak was 0.35 seconds short making the podium, running a time of 2 minutes, 12.96 seconds to finish in ninth place. Emoni Davis was 11th overall in the shot put, with her best throw coming at 37 feet, 10 inches.

BOARDMAN — Raegan Burkey finished the 800 in 13th place with a time of 2:16.87.

CANFIELD — Giovanni Copploe took 11th in the 3200, clocking in at 9:24.55.

EAST — DeShante Allen took 11th in the long jump. Her best leap came at 17-02.75.

WARREN HARDING — Faith Burch did not place in the high jump, bowing out at 5.


HUBBARD — Jared Southern placed sixth in the high jump. His highest leap was 6-04.

POLAND — Jackie Grisdale took fifth in the 800, running with a time of 2:16.92. Chloe Kosco did not place in the long jump, finishing 11th overall. Maggie Sebest was 13th overall in the 3200 with a time of 11.36.51.

SALEM — Turner Johnson did not place in the high jump, failing to clear 6-02. Cooper Stockman did not place in the discus, finishing 12th overall with his best throw coming in at 136-06. Haley Rozeski did not place in the 800, finishing in 10th place with a time of 2:17.79. Hunter Christopher did not make the podium in the 3200, placing 11th with a time of 9:50.44.

SOUTH RANGE — Cameron Tarr made the podium in seventh place with a time of 1:55.45. Ian Pierson did not place in the 1600, finishing 15th overall with a time of 4:39.54.


BADGER — Miranda Stanhope took third place in the 1600. Her time of 5:05.78 was five seconds behind winner Emma Watchke of Minster. She also placed seventh in the 3200 with a time of 11:27.48. Devin Moore placed seventh in the 110 hurdles with a time of 15.16.

CRESTVIEW — The boys 4x100 relay (Dylan Huff, Danny Moore, Ethan Powell, Luke Wickline) took fourth place with a time of 43.69. The boys 4x200 relay (Mitch Lindsay, Jayce Meredith, Moore, Powell) took sixth, running a time of 1:31.08.

EAST PALESTINE — Alexis Cunningham did not place in the 1600, finishing 10th with time of 5:14.07.

JACKSON-MILTON — Michaelina Terranova took sixth in the 300 hurdles with a time of 45.16.

LIBERTY — Madyson Hamner finished the 100 in third place. Her time of 12.33 was 0.2 seconds behind first-place Alysse Wade of St. Peter’s.

LORDSTOWN — The boys 4x400 (Jordan Beyah, Dominic D’Amico, Marcel Jenkins, Jermaine Jones) took eighth place, running a time of 3:28.69.

MAPLEWOOD — Ethan Sparks finished the 1600 in fourth place with a time of 4:17.98. Charlotte Crouch placed fifth in the 800 with a time of 2:16.68.

MCDONALD — Bella Wolford took seventh place in the 800 with a time of 2:18.71. The girls 4x200 (Naomi Domitrovich, Abbie Matig, Olivia Perry, Jessica Stamp) made the podium with under a second to spare, running a time of 1:46.64. Anna Guerra was about two seconds short of the podium, taking ninth in the 3200 with a time of 11:31.04.

WELLSVILLE — Justin Wright was just 0.01 seconds away from a state title in the 100, with Edon’s Logan Bloir leaning over the finish line with a time of 10.73. Wright took third in the 200 with a time of 21.98. He entered Saturday as the top seed for both races.
