4 — Northeast Ohio Golf Classic Scramble at the Youngstown Country Club. The four-person scramble style tournament will consist of 18-holes and begin with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. For $250 per person and $1,000 for a team of four.

6 — Youngstown Baseball Old-Timers Scramble at 10 a.m. at Mill Creek Golf Course. Call 330-540-8751 for more information.

9 — Cardinal Mooney Golf Team Scramble at Mill Creek Golf Course. Registration at noon and shotgun start at 1 p.m. Cost is $75 per person or $300 per team and includes lunch and dinner. 11 — 20th annual Annual Suzi Solomon Golf Classic at Squaw Creek-Avalon Golf and Country Club. An impact dinner will be held following the Golf Classic. Included will be live and silent auctions and raffles. Lunch and registration begin at 11:30 a.m. Tee time is 12:45 p.m. Dinner will be at 6 p.m. The cost is $185 per person for golf and dinner. Dinner only is $60 per person.

14 — PGA Junior Golf Academy begins at Yankee Run Golf Course in Brookfield. This six-session program will be conducted in two different age groups by PGA pro Bob Collins. Class size is limited. Cost is $90. Call or text 724-734-9533 or visit for more information.

18 — 36th annual Boardman Boosters Golf Scramble at Tippecanoe Country Club. Registration and lunch at noon, shotgun start at 1 p.m. Dinner at 6 p.m. Cost is $500 per team ($125 per player). Dinner only is $25. First-place team wins a foursome of golf at Tippecanoe. Second-place team wins $200. Checks payable to Boardman Booster Club. 23 — Foster Parent Association of Mahoning County Golf Scramble at Parto’s Golf Course. All proceeds will benefit foster children in Mahoning County. Cost is $100 per team and includes lunch and drinks. Checks payable to Foster Parent Association. Long drive and closest to pin contests are planned, along with a 50/50 and basket raffle.
