Kanye West has listening party in Wyo. for new album

Kanye West headed to the mountains to debut his new album, “YE.”
The rapper had a listening party in Jackson Hole, Wyo., on Thursday night. He flew in celebrities, industry heavyweights and journalists to hear the seven tracks.
Kim Kardashian West joined her husband, who was introduced by comedian Chris Rock.
The short tracks cover a range of subjects, including his recent declaration that slavery was a choice. He rapped that Kardashian West called “screaming, saying we’re about to lose it all,” fearing the criticism from the statement.
Nicki Minaj is among the artists appearing on some of the tracks.
Pusha T, Jonah Hill and Big Sean gathered around bonfires to hear West’s first album since 2016’s “The Life of Pablo.”
Spokesman: Williams hospitalized after workout at NYC gym
NEW YORK CITY
Montel Williams has been taken to a hospital after a workout at a New York City gym.
Williams’ spokesman tweeted that anyone who knows the 61-year-old television personality knows that Williams is an exercise enthusiast. The spokesman said Williams “over did it” and was admitted to the hospital out of an abundance of caution.
The spokesman said Williams is doing well and anticipates being discharged soon.
The spokesman did not say which hospital Williams was taken to.
Williams was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1999.
Platten to headline Boston Pops concert
Singer-songwriter Rachel Platten will headline the Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular on July Fourth.
The 37-year-old is best known for her 2015 hits “Fight Song” and “Stand By You.”
The show features an all-female lineup including Indigo Girls, Rhiannon Giddens and Broadway legend Rita Moreno.
The Pops also will pay tribute to composer and conductor Leonard Bernstein.
