The Teen Decades Rewind Party scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday at Poland Library has been canceled.
Tavern will host fundraiser for animals
The New Brickhouse Tavern, 958 E. Midlothian Blvd., will host a fundraiser for Legacy Dog Rescue and Angels for Animals from 4 to 11 p.m. Saturday.
The event will feature live outdoor music, weather permitting, and a basket auction. Cost is $10 and includes pasta, meatballs, bread with butter and dessert.
Canfield Class of '58 plans weekend reunion
The Canfield High School Class of 1958 will celebrate its 60th class reunion Friday through Sunday at the Vineyards on Pine Lake, 14101 Market St.
A mixer will take place at 5 p.m. Friday; dinner at 3:30 p.m. Saturday; and a farewell breakfast will take place at 9 a.m. Sunday. For information, email email@example.com.
Shepherd of the Valley to host sock drive
During the month of July, Shepherd of the Valley is hosting its first Stars and Stripes Sock Drive to benefit local veterans. White, cotton socks will be given to the Trumbull County Council of the American Legion to distribute to veteran men and women in local nursing facilities.
Men's and women's socks can be dropped off at any Shepherd of the Valley location between 8:30 a.m. and 8 p.m. daily. Drop-off hours for the corporate offices are 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Church will host annual Lawn Festival
Calla Community Church, 6482 W. Calla Road, will host its annual Lawn Festival at 4:30 p.m. Saturday. The event will include sandwiches, salads and desserts served cafeteria-style. Freewill donations will be accepted. A country store also will be set up. The store will feature hand-woven rugs, baked goods, handmade crafts and more.
The annual raffle has expanded. There are three prizes for one of the raffles. Third prize is a new kid's bicycle, second prize is a handmade afghan and first prize is a quilt done by the ladies of the church. The quilt is a queen/full size done in fall colors. The patches are varying types of birds.
A member of the church purchased two tickets for the Toby Keith performance at the Canfield Fair this year. They are stage seating, section B1. A chance for the pair is only $10, and 100 tickets will be sold. The event will take place rain or shine. Carryout is available for the food. Visit www.callachurch.com for information.
Moss Ancestral Home to host open house
Moss Ancestral Home, 1499 Burnett St., will host an open house from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday. There will be a campfire and program at 8:30. Bill Moss will impersonate Baden Powell, the man who founded the Scout movement more than 100 years ago. Participants are asked to take lawn chairs.
