Angels to host vaccine clinic

CANFIELD

Angels for Animals, 4750 W. South Range Road, will host a microchip and vaccine clinic from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the Andrews Hall at Angels. There will be vaccines available for cats and dogs.

Owners must have pets on a leash, in a cage or carried in a cloth pillowcase. The veterinary staff reserves the right to reject any animal appearing to be in poor health.

Cash and credit cards only will be accepted.

Salem Library to host crafting class Monday

SALEM

Salem Public Library, 821 E. State St., will host its “Gettin’ Crafty” class for adults at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the library’s Quaker Room. Participants will create a beach-inspired decorated vase.

All materials will be provided. The class is suitable for beginner and intermediate crafters. Seating is limited, so register online at www.salem.lib.oh.us or call the library at 330-332-0042 for assistance.

This program is open to the public and free of cost. Gettin’ Crafty class takes place on the second Monday of each month.

Club to host Hamfest on Sunday

AUSTINTOWN

The 20/9 Radio Club Inc. will host its annual Hamfest, Computer and Electronics Show from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at the Austintown Senior Center, 110 Westchester Drive.

There will be hourly raffles, food available for purchase and prizes. Admission is free and the site is handicap and stroller accessible.

ARRL Amateur Radio License testing will be available for all license classes at 8:30 with two forms of identification are required. If currently an Amateur Radio operator you will need a copy of the current license also.

Tables available for vendors are $10 for an inside table with pre-registration or outside space for $5 (available first come, first served the day of show or vendors may pre-register). For information or to register, call 330-651-8420 or email Hamfest@20over9.org.
