Ox Roast, flea market returns

MESOPOTAMIA

The 45th annual Ox Roast, antique-sale and flea market will take place Friday through Sunday at the intersection of state Routes 534 and 87.

It will feature more 160 dealers, roast beef sandwiches and fries and live music. There will be a pancake breakfast each morning from 7-11 a.m..

Festival hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission and parking is free.

Here is the entertainment schedule:

Friday: Chardon Polka Band, 10 a.m.; Jungle Terry, 1 p.m.; Woodpeckers, 2:30 p.m.; The Fort Huntsburg Band, 4:30 p.m.

Saturday: Mosquito Creek Band, 10 a.m.; Jungle Terry, 1 p.m.; Ventriloquist, 2:30 p.m.; Jones Farmwald and the Green River Boys, 5:30 p.m.; fireworks, 9:30 p.m.

Comedy show at Nic’s Lounge

NILES

A comedy show, featuring headliner Danger and 14 others will take place Saturday at Nic’s Lounge, 1629 N. Main St. The hosts will be Jon Huff and Nikkia Stewart. Admission is $5 for the 8:30 p.m. show, which will include a DJ.

The undercard will include Dreadhead Jackson, Daniel Brady, Alex K, Flaca, Nandi Brown, Nancy Howard, MoneyMike Royce, Karen Sue, Joe Anastasia, Burner, Tom Jones, Dave Laughylin, Mike Bono and Jojoe Woodford.
