US Marshals looking for man wanted in robberies in Campbell and Struthers

Luis Mateo IV is wanted by the U.S. marshals after a pair of armed robberies in Campbell and Struthers committed Jan. 20.

According to Struthers police, Mateo broke into a house on Riley Avenue in Struthers earlier in the day before proceeding to Whipple Avenue in Campbell, where he is accused of taking $140 in cash and a pair of Nike Air Jordans at gunpoint from an individual looking to sell the shoes.

The seller messaged Mateo, asking him to return the money and offering not to involve the police. The next day Mateo called the victim and threatened to kill him if he went to the police about the robbery.

The marshals said Mateo is Caucasian with black hair, stands about 6 feet 2 inches tall, and weighs about 200 pounds.
