Accident causes power outage in Warren

WARREN — Power is expected to be restored by 10 a.m. today for up to 500 city customers in because of a single-vehicle accident on Tod Avenue early today.

The Warren Police Department said a vehicle rounding the curve on Tod Avenue Southwest slid off the road south of Palmyra Road at 1:15 a.m., hit the pole, shearing it in half and knocking out power.

David Petrosky, 27, of Adelaide Avenue Northeast, was cited for failure to control his vehicle.

Two passengers were in the vehicle. None of the three reported being injured.
