ANTI-RACISM FORUM
ANTI-RACISM FORUM
Several dozen people attended Wednesday’s Greater Youngstown Community Dialogue on Racism gathering at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Youngstown to come up with action plans to tackle the problem. Among the ideas:
Support initiatives related to black-infant mortality.
Focus more on job training and creation via paid internships and apprenticeships.
Build interracial relationships, including between urban and suburban youth.
Learn the needs of released prisoners, especially to connect with trades and jobs.
