Country-pop Sugarland returning to Covelli

Country-pop duo Sugarland will return to Covelli Centre on July 13, with opening acts Brandy Clark and Clare Bowen.

Tickets are $59.50, $69.50 and $99.50, and will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at, by phone at 1-800-745-3000 and at the Covelli box office.

Sugarland, which consists of Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush, played Covelli in 2012 and 2007. The act reunited last year after a five-year hiatus and released the single “Still the Same.” They played a medley of their hits on “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” in New York’s Times Square last week.

Sugarland’s biggest hits include “Baby Girl,” “Stay,” “Already Gone,” “Everyday America” and “Stuck Like Glue.”

Brandy Clark is a Grammy-nominated songwriter and recording artist, who released her latest album, “Big Day in a Small Town,” in 2016.

The Australian-born Bowen is best known for her role as Scarlett O’Connor on the CMT (previously ABC) drama “Nashville.” In addition to being an actor, she is a singer and songwriter.
