A home in the 1600 block of Laura Lane was destroyed by a fire that was reported to the Trumbull County 911 Center at 7:40 a.m. Sunday. Two occupants and their two dogs escaped unharmed. The cause of the fire is unknown.

‘Caffeinate and Paint’
The Creative Arts & Design students from the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center have partnered with Stone Fruit Coffee to host a “Caffeinate and Paint” at the school, 7300 N. Palmyra Road. This event will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in MCCTC’s Joyce Brooks Center. Cost is $40 and includes all paint supplies and drinks. The cosmetology students also will provide stress-relief services, and culinary students will be serving pastries.
