The Adult Protective Service Unit and Child Support Enforcement Agency of Mahoning County Jobs and Family Services recently collected blankets, hats, mittens, gloves and toiletries for those in need. Adult Protective Services began collecting blankets for the elderly in 2009, and in 2013, they were joined by the Child Support Enforcement Agency. Donations were given to the Rescue Mission, which provides temporary shelter to homeless members of the community. Above, from left, are Toni Tablack and Krishmu Shipmon, administrators of MCJFS Adult Protective Services.
