Monique Billings scored 19 points and the UCLA women beat Oregon State, ending the Beavers’ eight-game winning streak. The Bruins never trailed and initially took control with a 14-4 run to end the second quarter with a 40-21 lead. Michaela Onyenwere added 12 points, Jordin Canada and Japreece Dean had 11 each, and Lajahna Drummer chipped in 10 for UCLA. Marie Gulich had 16 points and Taya Corosdale added 10 for the Beavers.

No. 21 Villanova 75, Xavier 57


Kelly Jekot scored 10 of her 21 points in the decisive third quarter and Megan Quinn finished with 10 points to help the Villanova women beat Xavier. Jekot hit three 3-pointers, grabbed five rebounds and had six assists. Alex Louin added eight points and a career-high eight assists for Villanova (12-2, 2-2 Big East). The Wildcats took a 30-24 lead into the break before Quinn and Jekot hit back-to-back 3s to open the third quarter and spark a 10-2 run that pushed the lead into double figures for good. Jekot added a conventional 3-point play and another 3-pointer, the latter of which made it 50-34 with three minutes left in the third. Jada Byrd scored 12 points and Imani Partlow added 11 for Xavier (8-5, 1-2).

No. 24 Stanford 61, Arizona 46


Alanna Smith and Kiana Williams had 12 points each and the Stanford women led by at least 10 after halftime on their way to a win over Arizona. The Cardinal (9-6, 3-0 Pac-12) led 23-11 at the end of the first quarter but didn’t pull into double digits for good until ending the second with an 8-0 run to lead 35-21. The Wildcats (4-10, 0-3) missed 10 straight field-goal attempts to start the fourth quarter. DiJonai Carrington added 10 points and nine rebounds for the Cardinal. Lucia Alonso had 15 points and Sam Thomas scored 10 for Arizona.
