Warren man shot in the head but talks to cops
WARREN
A city man, 35, told police he was shot in the head at 6:30 p.m. Monday while walking on Atlantic Street Northeast.
Police spoke with him at the Trumbull Regional Medical Center and had suffered serious injuries to the side of his head but was conscious and breathing.
The man said a car stopped in the road, and a male exited the car and said something he didn't understand. The man shot him, stood over him with the gun for a brief moment, then got back into the car as a passenger and left.
A passerby picked him up and drove him to the hospital, he said. The police report said the victim suffered a "major injury."
