Ex-pastor: Angley abused me
A lawsuit filed last week by a former associate pastor at an Ohio megachurch claims televangelist Ernest Angley sexually abused and harassed him over a 10-year period starting in 2004.
Miller claims Angley, who recently turned 97, forced him in 2004 to get a vasectomy as a condition of his employment, inspected his genitals and repeatedly asked questions of a sexual nature at Angley’s Grace Cathedral in Cuyahoga Falls. The lawsuit alleges Angley made Miller lie on a bed while the televangelist massaged him.
The lawsuit seeks unspecified monetary damages.
The allegations initially were reported by the Akron Beacon Journal.
Actress rises above online hate
Emmy nominee Millie Bobby Brown continues to show wisdom beyond her years. The 14-year old “Stranger Things” star is no stranger to social media trolls. She hopes young people can “rise above the hate” and “not let anyone change you.”
Brown has deactivated her Twitter account after being harassed online. She no longer looks at online comments and remains active on Instagram.
Brown received a supporting actress nod for her role as Eleven in “Stranger Things.” Brown provided a shred about the third season. She says it’ll have “everything the fans want” by showing “a crazy moment for each character.”
