Police find coke, heroin, handguns

YOUNGSTOWN

Police late Wednesday found large amounts of cocaine and heroin and two loaded handguns inside a Southern Boulevard apartment while answering an unknown trouble call.

Ramon Cooper, 27, of Market Street, was arrested on charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm and felonious assault. He is in the Mahoning County jail.

When officers arrived about 10:30 a.m. a man told them he and another person were pistol whipped over a drug debt.

Reports said Cooper admitted coming to the apartment to collect a drug debt but one of the two victims attacked him.
