WBHS students learn CPR

The students in Gary Martin’s health classes at West Branch High School were given the chance recently to learn the proper techniques of performing first aid as well as learning how to administer cardio-pulmonary resuscitation. The HeartSaver first aid/CPR course provided the students the opportunity to become certified in CPR through the American Heart Association. Additionally, students learned what signs to look for in case of an emergency. Above, Joe Sprague, freshman, practices CPR during health class.
