Ohio extends income-tax filing deadline to midnight

COLUMBUS — The Ohio Department of Taxation, in conjunction with an announcement from the Internal Revenue Service, is extending the due date to file and pay Ohio individual and school district income taxes by one additional day to midnight tonight.

The IRS extended the federal filing deadline because technical problems prevented taxpayers from using its online filing system for much of Tuesday's original filing due date.
