Easter Seals offers hot, nutritious meals weekdays in Columbiana and Mahoning counties for people 60 or older and their spouses (regardless of age). Reservations are required three days in advance. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Call 330-884-2513 to make reservations, for serving locations or to arrange for home-delivered meals for seniors who are homebound. Transportation is available by calling 330-884-2511. The program office is at 299 Edwards St., Youngstown.


Wednesday, April 18: Baked ziti, Italian vegetables, diced carrots, bread, juice and milk

Thursday, April 19: Pork fritter, Brussels sprouts, corn, pineapple tidbits, wheat bread, cookie and chocolate milk

Friday, April 20: Breakfast burrito, tater tots, juice, cookie and milk

Monday, April 23: Manicotti, zucchini, carrots, applesauce, bread, cookie and milk Tuesday, April 24: Macaroni and cheese, winter vegetables, peas, peaches, wheat bread, cookie and milk


The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers well-balanced meals at seven locations in Trumbull County for people 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or older. Reservations must be made two working days in advance by 2 p.m. There is no income requirement. Donations are accepted for meals. To make a reservation or for information, call 330-675-2486. The office is at 2959 Youngstown Road SE, Warren.

Wednesday, April 18: Mushroom Swiss burger on a sandwich roll, tater tots with ketchup, Harvard beets, mandarin oranges, regular or sugar-free pudding and milk

Thursday, April 19: Breaded chicken cutlet, wheat bread with margarine, au gratin potatoes, carrots, peaches, ice cream or graham crackers and milk

Friday, April 20: Pizza pasta (pasta, sauce, sausage, cheese), whole grain dinner roll with margarine, Italian greens, Caesar salad, warm applesauce, mini loaf or vanilla wafers and milk

Monday, April 23: Barbecued chicken breast, wheat bread with margarine, baked beans, warm spiced pears, fresh broccoli salad, sherbet or graham crackers and milk

Tuesday, April 24: Beef braciole with gravy over noodles, whole grain roll with margarine, lima beans, carrots, cottage cheese with peaches and milk
