Austintown Grace Lutheran Church, 162 S. Raccoon Road, will host a drive through stuffed chicken breast dinner from 3 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. Menu includes stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, and a brownie. Cost is $7. Pepperoni rolls also will be available for $2 each. Calvary United Methodist Church, 12062 South Ave. Ext., North Lima, will have its monthly drive-through stuffed chicken breast dinner from 3 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. The dinners include mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and a brownie for $7. Drive up to the door, and someone will take the dinners to your car. Call 330-549-2588 to reserve dinners. Leave a name, phone number, the number of dinners wanted and approximate time of arrival. A percentage of the profits is used for local mission projects.

Christ Our Savior Parish at Holy Trinity Church, 250 N. Bridge St., Struthers, will sell potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi. The cost is $6 a dozen. There is a limit of three dozen cabbage pirogi while supplies last. Orders will be taken from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday and from 8 to 10 a.m. Friday at 330-755-0064. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Containers will be provided.

Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., will take orders for fresh potato and potato with kraut pirogi for $6 per dozen. No containers are necessary. Orders should be placed from 9 to 11 a.m. or until sold out Thursday and at 10:30 a.m. Friday, if available, by calling 330-746-9528. Pick up will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Lunches also will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday.

St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell, will host pirogi sales. Call in orders to 330-755-1316 Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. with pickup from noon to 1:30 p.m. Friday. Choose potato, kraut or prune pirogi at $6 per dozen.

St. Paul the Apostle Church, 10143 Main St., New Middletown, will have a pirogi sale. The cost is $6 per dozen. Potato, cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi are available. Phone orders will be taken Thursday and Friday from 8 to 11 am. Call 330-542-3525 to order. Pick up Friday from noon to 3 p.m.

St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, is selling potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi. Advance orders will be taken at 330-747-3024 from 8 a.m. to noon Thursday and Friday. Pickup will be Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost is $7 per dozen. Pirogi lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Walk-in orders are welcome.

VFW Col. Louis J. Campbell Post 3538, 157 Lowellville Road, Struthers, will serve spaghetti dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. Meals include meatballs, salad, bread and butter and coffee. Cost is $7.50 for adults and $4 for children under 8. Carryout orders are $8 and will be available until 6 p.m. Containers will be provided.

VFW Post 2799 Auxiliary will sponsor a spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. at the post home, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield. Menu includes spaghetti, meatballs, salad, Italian bread, coffee or tea. Cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children under 12.

FRIDAY

Girard K of C Council 2935 will have a fish dinner at the K of C Hall, 122 S. State St., from 4 to 7 p.m. Cost is $9 for adults and children 4 to 12 are $4.50. Children under 4 eat free. The menu includes baked or fried fish, french fries, macaroni and cheese or haluski, coleslaw, bread, coffee and cake. Pop and water are $1. Carry out is available by calling 330-545-3432. Proceeds will benefit the K of C charities.

Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. SATURDAY

Fowler United Methodist Church, 3426 state Route 193, at the corner of state Route 305, will serve a chicken-pie dinner from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children six to 12, and children age 5 and under eat for free. SUNDAY

Community Day Camp of North Lima will host the Annual Potato Bake from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Paradise church, 10020 New Buffalo Road, Canfield. Build your own baked potato at the toppings bar. Also included will be side dishes, bread, desserts and drinks. Cost is by donation with proceeds to benefit the Summer Day Camp, which will take place July 30 through Aug. 3 at Mt. Olivet United Church of Christ.

Fowler Fire Department, state Route 193, will host its monthly pancake, sausage and egg breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost is $7 for adults, $6 for seniors, $5 for children and free for those in preschool.

Girard First Robotics Aptiv Team, the RoboCats, will host a pancake breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Girard Italian Fraternal Home Club, 33 W. Wilson Ave. Enter at the rear of the building. Tickets are $6 per person and are available at the door or from any Robocat team member. Proceeds benefit the World Championship that will take place in Detroit. A 50-50 raffle and $200 in scratch-off lottery tickets.

Our Lady of the Lakes Men’s Club will sponsor a spaghetti dinner from noon to 4 p.m. in the church hall at St. James Parish, 50 Rosemont Road, North Jackson. Cost is $9 for adults and $6 for children 11 and under. Salads, homemade desserts and drinks are included. Carryout will be available.

Southington American Legion Post will have a pancake breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the post home, 3145 Warren-Burton Road. Donations are $7.50 for adults, $4 for children under age 12 and children age 4 and younger eat for free. Menu includes all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage, french toast and sausage or biscuits and gravy

Menu includes pasta, meatballs, salad, bread, dessert and beverage. Cost is $10 for adults, $7 for children age 6 to 12 and free for children under 5. Takeouts available.

TAKING ORDERS

First Presbyterian Church of Girard will be selling broccoli cheese, vegetable beef and chicken noodle soups, home-made pepperoni rolls, fresh baked bread, and home-made sticky buns on April 21. The soup is $5 a quart and $3 a pint. Pepperoni rolls are $8 for the large and $2 for a single. Bread is $2 for a large loaf and $1.50 a for a small loaf and sticky buns are four for $2.50. This is the last soup sale until fall. Orders can be placed by calling 330-759-1460. Deadline for orders is April 18 at 7 p.m. After that, items will be only as available. Pick up will be at the church, 890 Churchill Road, Girard, between 3 and 4:30 p.m.

Holy Apostles Parish, St. Stephen of Hungary Church, 854 Wilson Ave., Youngstown, is taking orders for a stuffed cabbage carryout sale. Cost is $25 per dozen, packaged fresh in a foil pan ready to reheat or freeze. Pickup will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday in the social hall. Aut Mori Grotto will host a beef tips and noodles dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. April 19 at the Grotto Hall, 563 N. Belle Vista Ave., Youngstown. Meals also will include salad, a vegetable, roll with butter and beverage. Cost is $10 per person. Proceeds will benefit Grotto charities and the building fund. Sts. Peter and Paul Social Hall, 421 Covington St., will host a spaghetti dinner for the Deputy John “Sonny” Litch Memorial Scholarship Fund from noon to 3 p.m. April 29. The event will feature a basket auction, lottery tree, TV raffle and a 50-50 raffle. Takeout will be available. Cost is $8 and $4 for children 12 and under. No tickets will be sold at the door. This scholarship is open to high-school and college students of Croatian and Hungarian descent and any student going into law enforcement. Struthers Band Boosters will host a pasta dinner fundraiser from 3 to 7 p.m. April 28 at St. Nicholas Great Hall, 764 Fifth St. Menu includes pasta, meatballs, salad, bread, beverage and dessert. Cost is $8 for adults, $5 for children age 3 to 10 and free for children under 3. Entertainment will be provided by the Struthers City School bands; 6th-, 7th- and 8th-grade band, high school concert band and various solos and small ensembles. Proceeds benefit current and future expenses for new school instruments, new music, marching band uniforms and other equipment needs necessary to train the musicians in the Struthers Band programs.
