Woman faces charges after Sunday morning accident

YOUNGSTOWN — Reports said a Leo Street woman was issued citations for possession of marijuana and physical control of a motor vehicle while intoxicated Sunday morning.

Police said they found her wedged under the dashboard of her car early Sunday morning on the state Route 711 connector after an accident.

Police found a small amount of marijuana in a grinder as they rescued Chanae Robinson, 25, reports said.

Reports said she smelled heavily of alcohol and later at the hospital she yelled at hospital staff as they tried to treat her.

She is expected to be arraigned in municipal court sometime today.
