The Spartans finished seventh overall and improved their varsity record to 26-10 for the 2017 season. The junior varsity squad placed second in the junior varsity race and is 20-1 so far this year.

Aiding in Boardman’s varsity score was senior Mark Moradian at 17:23, which was good enough for 17th overall. He was followed by senior Nick Lascola at a personal best time of 18:20, which earned the Spartan runner 39th place. Seniors Matt Moradian and Jason Fabian finished 54th and 70th overall, respectively, to round out the scoring for Boardman.
