Mahoning Garden Club will meet at noon at the Davis Education and Visitor Center, Kidston classroom. Bring a sack lunch. Program will be making Tussie Mussies and will be presented by Claudia DeLorenzo and Jo Ann Kaschak. Hostesses are Dee Didden and Marilyn Chui.
Men's Garden Club of Youngstown will have its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. at Fellows Gardens. The speaker will be Marilyn McKinley, a master gardener from the OSU extension office. Her topic is local flavor and good-natured garden partners. All are welcome.

Holborn Herb Growers Guild will host its annual tea Sept. 10 in the Western Reserve Village of the Canfield Fairgrounds. Tours of the village buildings and samplings of teas and desserts are available. Each guest will receive a tea cup and saucer to take home and the guild’s cookbook will be available to purchase. Cost is $10 per person and children under 8 are admitted free of charge. Tickets are available from any HHGG member or by calling Carole Check at 330-720-7142.
