“This Is Us” (9 p.m., NBC): In tonight’s episode, Randall and Beth adjust to a new family dynamic, Kate books her first big gig and Kevin suffers a setback on his movie.

Art for SMARTS event to include auction, live music

YOUNGSTOWN

The SMARTS Community Art School, located in the Ohio One Building on East Boardman Street downtown, will present its second annual Art for SMARTS event Saturday from 6:30 to 10 p.m.

The event will offer for sale nearly 150 pieces of artwork, donated to SMARTS (Students Motivated by the Arts) by local and regional artists. The collection includes framed and unframed works, and art from all mediums, including 3-D pieces, jewelry and a few surprises.

In addition to the auction, there will be a bourbon tasting, photo booth and various items created by local artisans for purchase from the SMARTS Store. Donations will be accepted, with proceeds to benefit SMARTS programming.

Entertainment will be provided by the Vinny Vivacqua Duo and Geo C and Tha Storm. There also will be a cash bar and food trucks.

To purchase tickets in advance for the Art for SMARTS event, visit Smarts-ArtSchool.org/AFS17. SMARTS is a community art school that gives kindergarten through 12th-grade students access to the arts.

Sheeran injury could affect tour

LONDON

British singer Ed Sheeran has told fans via Instagram that he’s had a bicycle injury and may have to change some concert dates.

The popular singer said Monday he’s had “a bit of a bicycle accident” and is “currently waiting on some medical advice, which may affect some of my upcoming shows.”

Sheeran is scheduled to perform a series of shows in Asia starting Sunday. He asks fans to “stay tuned” for further news. The Instagram post showed a photograph of his tattooed arm in a cast.

Quarter auction to benefit orchestra

YOUNGSTOWN

The DeYor Performing Arts Center will present a quarter auction Thursday, with many gifts available, including household gifts, fashion accessories and gift certificates.

Doors open at 6 p.m. with the auction at 7. Admission is $10. Extra bidding paddles are $5 or three for $10.
