The Western Reserve Fish & Game Association, 1058 W. Third St., will have a one-day CCW/CHL class at 8 a.m. Sunday.
Cost is $70. A $20 deposit is required. All classroom materials, firearms, safety gear and ammunition will be provided. Lunch and refreshments also will be provided.
The class exceeds state requirements to apply for a Concealed Handgun License in Ohio.

Local hunters have an opportunity to assist in reducing the raccoon population at Mosquito Lake State Park during open raccoon season this year.
Two participants will be drawn Thursday. Interested applicants must mail a postcard with their name, address and phone number to Mosquito Lake State Park, 1439 State Route 305, Cortland, OH 44410.
All entries must be postmarked by Monday. Entries will be drawn Thursday at the park office.
All hunting details will be shared with the hunting entrants. All entrants may not have any previous wildlife violations and must hold a current hunting license.

Sportsman flea market
The Lowellville Rod and Gun Club, 6225 Quarry Road, will have a sportsman flea market from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. next Saturday.
The public is welcome, and the kitchen will be open.

The Lowellville Rod and Gun Club, 6225 Quarry Road, will have fall turkey shoots through Nov. 21.
Sign-up begins at 6 p.m., and shoots start at 7. Shells will be provided at a cost of $2 per shell.
