‘Power Rangers Live’ at Stambaugh

Staff report

“Power Rangers Live,” a live stage show based on the children’s television series, will come to Stambaugh Auditorium on March 29 for a 7 p.m. performance.

Tickets are $30, $40, $50 and $60, with VIP packages available, and go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. to stambaughauditorium.com, by phone at 330-259-0555 and at the box office, 1000 Fifth Ave.

The tour celebrates the 25th anniversary of Saban’s Power Rangers, which is one of the longest running series in television history.

The show is an interactive, mixed-media stage production for the whole family with action-packed stunts and martial arts, and state of the art video technology. In the show, six ordinary teens morph into the Power Rangers to help save the world from an alien threat while promoting inclusivity, diversity and teamwork.

Created by Haim Saban and launched in 1993, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers quickly became a pop culture phenomenon. The series is currently in its 24th season with “Power Rangers Ninja Steel.”
