Detroit has won past four Thanksgiving games after losing previous nine. Lions are 37-38-2 on Thanksgiving, including 16-13 win over Minnesota last season. This is first time Detroit will face same opponent on Thanksgiving in back-to-back years since Lions split two games with Chicago in 1979-80. ... Vikings QB Case Keenum had 584 yards passing and 110.5 passer rating over past two games. ... Minnesota’s Adam Thielen is second in NFL with 916 yards receiving and second player in franchise history with at least 60 catches and 900 yards in team’s first 10 games. Randy Moss accomplished that in 2003. ... Vikings DE Everson Griffen is tied for fourth in NFL with 10 sacks. ... Four-game Thanksgiving winning streak equals longest for Lions since winning six straight from 1950-55. Detroit also won four in row from 1997-2000. Fantasy Tip: Lions have not had 100-yard rusher since Reggie Bush had 117 on Thanksgiving against Green Bay in 2013. Might be better looking at Minnesota RBs.

STREAKS, STATS AND NOTES: Chargers in first Thanksgiving game since 1969, fifth overall, first against Cowboys, who are making 50th appearance (30-18-1). ... Both franchises debuted in 1960, Chargers in AFL, Cowboys in NFL. Cowboys’ 10 meetings with Chargers are their fewest among teams in existence since then. ... Chargers’ last Thanksgiving game also in Texas, 21-17 AFL victory at Houston year before merger. ... Chargers last played at $1.2 billion AT&T Stadium in debut season of 2009, winning 20-17. ... Chargers DE Joey Bosa was third overall pick in 2016, one spot ahead of former Ohio State teammate and suspended Dallas RB Ezekiel Elliott. It’s third game of Elliott’s six-game ban over alleged domestic violence. ... Bosa has six-game sack streak and 21 sacks in 22-game career. ... CB Casey Hayward had third career multi-interception game against Bills (two). ... LB Korey Toomer returned first career INT for TD against Buffalo. ... Cowboys QB Dak Prescott, 0-2 without fellow 2016 rookie sensation Elliott, coming off first three-interception game. He has six passing TDs, no interceptions and three rushing TDs in three career home games against AFC. Prescott leads NFL QBs with five rushing touchdowns. ... RB Alfred Morris ran for 121 yards, TD in only game against Chargers with Washington in 2013. ... WR Dez Bryant, in four-game touchdown drought, has 10 TDs in past nine at home vs. AFC. ... DE DeMarcus Lawrence tied for NFL lead with career-high 111/2 sacks. Fantasy Tip: Gordon best bet for big game because Cowboys have allowed 181 yards rushing per game without 2016 All-Pro linebacker Sean Lee, expected to miss second straight game, fourth overall with hamstring injury.

NEW YORK GIANTS (2-8)

at WASHINGTON (4-6)

REDSKINS OFFENSE: OVERALL (9), RUSH (18), PASS (7).

REDSKINS DEFENSE: OVERALL (24), RUSH (19), PASS (25).

STREAKS, STATS AND NOTES: Redskins have won two of past three matchups, but one loss in that span was big deal: Giants’ road victory in Week 17 last season kept Washington out of playoffs, Giants got in. ... First of two head-to-head meetings this season; NFC East rivals combined 0-5 in division games so far. ... This is first time Redskins have hosted game on Thanksgiving. ... Giants coach Ben McAdoo’s job status expected to be in doubt at season’s end. ... New York’s offense tied for last in NFL with 17 TDs. ... QB Eli Manning has thrown for only 14 scores; career low for 16-game season is 18 in 2013. ... With season-ending injuries to WRs Odell Beckham Jr. and Brandon Marshall, and Sterling Shepard dealing with migraines, starting WRs could be Roger Lewis Jr., Tavarres King and Travis Rudolph, trio with combined career total of 44 NFL catches. ... Redskins have lost two in row, allowing at least 30 points in each game. ... Last weekend, held 15-point lead with three minutes remaining in fourth quarter but lost in OT. ... Injuries keep mounting, with 15 players on IR, including four placed there this week. Among missing: two starting offensive linemen; top two running backs; three LBs who have started games this season; and WR Terrelle Pryor, who managed only 20 catches after being signed as free agent. ... Rookie RB Samaje Perine started last week and ran for 117 yards and TD, but also dropped pass in overtime. ... QB Kirk Cousins third in NFL with 2,796 yards passing. Fantasy Tip: Evan Engram leads Giants in catches as rookie and Redskins’ defense has not been doing much stopping anyone lately. Pretty much any tight end who faces Giants likely to fare well, but with Jordan Reed still dealing with an injury, best choice on Washington would be Vernon Davis.
