‘Mary Wick’ author to lecture


Lillian Reynolds Reeher will discuss her book “Finding Mary Wick,” a collection of stories from a set of scrapbooks Reeher found at an antiques sale, at noon Thursday at the Tyler History Center, 325 W. Federal St., downtown.

Mary Wick was born into a prominent Youngstown family and emerged from the start of the women’s rights movement to become not a feminist, but a gentlewoman with equal rights.

Guests can bring a lunch or visit Overture restaurant for its $6 Bites and Bits lunch special. Call Overture at 330-744-9900 to place an order. Coffee, pop and water are available for purchase at the Tyler.

‘Why Me Too?’ play will premiere


The new stage play “Why Me Too?,” written and directed by Michael Forney, and the sequel to his “Why Me?” play, will be performed Friday at Michael Anthony’s Galleria D’Arte, 98 E. State St.
