Civilian occupation: Educator for 31 years. Football coach at Boardman; Woodrow Wilson assistant principal in charge of the junior high school; Chaney High School assistant principal; Poland High School principal; superintendent of Mahoning County Joint Vocational School.

Education: Woodrow Wilson High School, 1944; Mount Union College, 1950.

Church: Poland United Methodist Church

Honors: “Who’s Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities;” Woodrow Wilson Athletic Hall of Fame; Mahoning County Career and Technical Center Wall of Fame; Woodrow Wilson Distinguished Alumni in 2014; Mahoning Valley Legacy Award, 2014; Grand Marshal of the Poland Memorial Day Parade; Poland Community Baseball Hall of Fame in 2001; Curbstone Coaches Hall of Fame in 1994; All-City end on 1942 undefeated Wilson team and in 1943 All-City and All-Mahoning County fullback
