Easter Seals offers hot, nutritious meals weekdays in Columbiana and Mahoning counties for people 60 or older and their spouses (regardless of age). Reservations are required three days in advance. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Call 330-884-2513 to make reservations, for serving locations or to arrange for home-delivered meals for seniors who are homebound. Transportation is available by calling 330-884-2511. The program office is located at 299 Edwards St., Youngstown.

Thursday, June 1: Chicken breast, seasoned potatoes, green beans, applesauce, cookie, bread and milk

Monday, June 5: Omelet, Tater tots, fruit, orange juice, cookie and milk

Tuesday, June 6: Chicken patty, sweet potatoes, vegetables, applesauce, juice, cookie and milk


The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers well-balanced meals at 11 locations in Trumbull County for people 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or over. Reservations must be made two working days in advance. There is no income requirement. Donations are accepted for meals. To make a reservation or for more information, call 330-675-2486. Friday, June 2: Baked ham slice with fruit sauce, scalloped potatoes, carrots, wheat bread with margarine, pineapple tidbits, regular or sugar-free pudding and milk

Monday, June 5: Italian sausage link on a bun with peppers, onions and sauce, seasoned red-skin potatoes, butter beans, cinnamon sliced apples, sherbet or graham crackers and milk

Tuesday, June 6: Teriyaki chicken breast, island blend vegetables, potato salad, wheat bread with margarine, peaches, regular or sugar-free pudding and milk
