Hitchcock Woods Early Learning Center brought Easter to the community during their Easter Egg Eggstravaganza on April 15.

The free event ran from noon until 2 p.m. and was open at anyone in the community. The Easter Bunny was there for pictures along with Poppy from the movie “Trolls.”

There were two Easter egg hunts for the children of all ages who attended. The eggs contained candy, prizes and a few special eggs had free registration to Hitchcock Woods for the upcoming 2017-2018 school year.

The teachers from Hitchcock Woods were available to talk to and to give a tour of the school to those who were interested in having their children join.

There were games and activities inside and outside to keep the families busy having fun. There were bunny face masks, a hula hoop egg toss, a spoon and egg race and more. Raffle baskets were put together for guests to win at the end of the event.

Hitchcock Woods Early Learning Center owner and director Pattie Welsh said how there was a great turnout. Several students came with their families along with children from around the community. The children had the opportunity to play with their classmates and make new friends.

Hosting events for the community and the students is something Hitchcock Woods enjoys doing. They like to give back in any way they can.
