New exhibition at steel museum
“We Made It! We Sold It! We Bought It!,” the Youngstown Historical Center of Industry and Labor’s newest exhibit, is now open.
The exhibit, designed by Youngstown State University graduate students, features household artifacts that were manufactured in the Northeast during America’s golden industrial era (1945-1965).
The YHCIL, known as the steel museum, is at 151 W. Wood St.

Chaney presents free performance
The Chaney VPA High School spring performance, “IMAGINE! Every Achievement Begins with Imagination,” will be Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the auditorium of the school, 731 S. Hazelwood Ave.
The free show is the final in the seven-installment program that ran through the performance season. Performance pieces will include dramatic monologues, and vocal and instrumental music. A student visual art exhibit will be displayed in the main lobby.
