“The 71st Annual Tony Awards” (8 p.m., CBS): After a “Hamilton” domination last year, the race among Broadway’s best figures to be much more wide open. There’s also an air of unpredictability around this year’s host as Kevin Spacey makes his debut in the role. He’ll be joined by an array of stars from stage and screen, including Orlando Bloom, Stephen Colbert, Tina Fey, Josh Gad, Josh Groban, Taraji P. Henson, Scarlett Johansson, Anna Kendrick, Keegan-Michael Key, Bette Midler, Ben Platt and Olivia Wilde. “Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812” leads all shows with 12 nominations.

“Claws” (9 p.m., TNT): Manis, pedis and ... treachery? Welcome to “Claws,” a dark comedy tied to a tough-as-nails Florida salon owner (Niecy Nash) who also happens to be entangled in a money laundering scheme with the mob.

“Steve Harvey’s Funderdome” (9 p.m., ABC): This new seed-funding reality show has two entrepreneurs pitching their product ideas to a studio audience. Said audience then votes on the winner, who earns an infusion of cash to fuel the business.

Paint and Taste at the YWCA


The YWCA, 25 W. Rayen Ave., will have a Paint and Taste session from 5:15 to 7:45 p.m. June 29. Award-winning artist and art educator Susan Jacobs will guide participants in creating a beach scene on a 16-by-20-inch canvas. No experience is necessary.

Family Night, film at Boardman Park


A free Family Night will take place Saturday at the Maag Outdoor Theatre at Boardman Park. Guest should bring lawn chairs and blankets. Concessions will be available.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. with a bouncer for children, Jocko the Balloon Man, hayrides and more. The band Backbeat will play from 6:30 to 8 p.m., and the Infini-Tribe hoop squad will perform at 8:15.

The movie “Annie” will be screened at dark.
