v Art in the Park, 10 a.m.: Take in the sights and sounds of the performances and displays at this family-friendly event at 866 Sunset Blvd., Salem. There will be a variety of onstage performances by musicians, dancers and museum representatives. Displays will feature wool spinning, graphic art, woodcarving, kites and more.

v Friends of the Mahoning River Riverfest 2017, noon to 5 p.m.: The B&O Complex, 530 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown, hosts this annual celebration including educational and historical displays, children’s activities, crafts, kayak and canoe rides, food and music.

v 33rd Annual Trumbull County African- American Achievers Festival: 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. African-American culture and heritage, gospel music, carnival rides, games, arts and crafts, entertainment and food can be found at this event at Courthouse Square, 111 High Street NE, Warren. Admission is free and the event runs through Sunday.

v 10th anniversary Camaros vs. Mustangs Showdown, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Come to Summit Racing Equipment, 1200 Southeast Ave, Tallmadge, to show off your car or to see someone else’s car. $5-per-car minimum donation, with proceeds benefiting the Akron Children’s Burn Center.

v Cars are the Stars 3 Benefit Classic Car Show, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.: 443 Trumbull Ave., Girard. Free admission for spectators, with basket Auction, door prizes, 50/50 raffle, food, beverages and music.

“Destination Wedding,” (9 p.m., Hallmark): In this made-for-TV film, a woman (Alexa PenaVega) plans a big ceremony for her sister in Acapulco and must work alongside the best man, who just happens to be her ex-boyfriend. Naturally, complications arise.

“Community Connection” (Sunday, 6:30 a.m., 21 WFMJ-TV and 11 a.m. on WBCB-TV): Hospice of the Valley grief counselor Kim Calhoun will join host Madonna Chism Pinkard to discuss seasonal grief and how to deal with tragic, unexpected and untimely deaths.

Next, Ra’Cole Taltoan and Dionne Dowdy with the newly formed organization United Returning Citizens will discuss the purpose of the organization to help citizens recently released from incarceration and a Father’s Day brunch for the community to help these citizens.

Sharhonda McQueen with the Spotlight performing arts Summer Program and Randi Russell of the Boys & Girls Club, Youngstown, will discuss summer programing for the creative arts.

“A Conversation with Dee” (Sunday, 7:30 a.m., WYTV-TV): This week, Dee Crawford talks with JoAnn Stock from Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley about the services and programs they offer to the community.

Dee also will preview a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the hospital’s new outpatient surgery wing.
