Man tells police he was shot in the mouth by a BB
YOUNGSTOWN — A 44-year-old Glenwood Avenue man Sunday told police he was shot in the mouth by a BB gun after he heard pellets striking the window of his apartment.
Officers were called about 7:45 p.m. to the 3000 block of Glenwood Avenue, where the victim told police he heard something hit his window and when he went on his balcony to investigate, he was hit in the mouth by a pellet from a BB gun.
The man had a chipped tooth and was bleeding from the mouth.
Reports said the victim told police he saw someone in the bushes of a nearby home but police searched the area and found no one.
