Sixteen 2017 Canfield High School graduates, and Hilltop Elementary School alumni, dressed in their caps and gowns and went back to Hilltop Elementary School on June 5.

The day after their graduation, the students visited the school to participate in a Clap Out from the elementary students.

The graduates took the time to model their hard work and success to elementary students and showed the students what hard work looks like in the end. The students lined the halls of their school, and while the graduates walked the halls, the young students bid a final farewell to the graduates with a Clap Out.

“We started this tradition last year and are excited once again for the youngsters to see the students in caps and gowns walk the halls where it all began,” Canfield Local School Superintendent Alex Geordan said.

Several 2017 Canfield High School graduates, and C.H. Campbell Elementary School alumni, also visited that school to participate in a Clap Out with the elementary students.
