String-art class set Feb. 7 at Munnell Run Farm

The public is invited to join Munnell Run Farm and the Mercer County Conservation District in conjunction with Mitzi Dales, owner of No Place Like Home, in a creative program that will teach the step-by-step process in making love-your-state string art.

The program will be offered from 5:45 to 8:30 p.m. Feb. 7 at the Munnell Run Farm Pig Barn, 753 Greenville Road.

No art experience is required and all paint and other materials will be provided as well as instruction. Participants will be responsible for bringing a hammer to design the state.

Upon registration, the state shape and a family name or town/state name will need to be provided. Registration and pre-payment is requested by Jan. 30.

To pre-register, call 724- 662- 2242 and ask for Jacqueline or Larissa. The cost is $40 and checks can be made payable to Munnell Run Farm, 24 Avalon Court, Suite 300, Mercer, PA 16137.
