Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. Orders should be placed from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday and from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday at 330-746-9528 and are to be picked up between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Friday at the church hall. Hot lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Penn State Shenango, 147 Shenango Ave., Sharon, will host its fifth annual THON spaghetti dinner from 5 to 8 p.m. in the campus auditorium. All proceeds will support children with cancer. The meal will include meatball, salad, bread, cake and beverages. Takeout will be available. The event will feature a basket raffle. Meal tickets include one free raffle ticket and may be purchased in advance for $8 from the Penn State Students Affairs Office, Room 103 in Sharon Hall on Penn Avenue, or in downtown Sharon. Tickets also may be purchased at the door for $10. Children under 5 eat for free and seniors over the age of 65 will pay $5. More raffle tickets can be purchased during the dinner.

Lockwood United Methodist Church S.O.A.R. Team will serve a free community dinner from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the church, 4570 Lockwood Blvd., Boardman. The menu consists of chili, corn bread, applesauce, brownie and punch or coffee.
Aut Mori Grotto will host its monthly all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 9 a.m. to noon Jan. 28 at the Aut Mori Grotto Banquet Hall, 563 N. Belle Vista Ave. Menu will include sausage, eggs, sausage gravy and biscuits, potatoes, coffee, juice and toast. Cost is $6 for adults, $4 for children under 12 and children under 3 eat free. Aut Mori Grotto is a non-profit organization that supports local charities such as Akron Children’s Hospital, Sojourners House, local Salvation Army as well as Dentistry for Children under 17 that are either mentally or physically challenged.
