Mike Stout to speak at Cushwa Hall
Mike Stout, the Pittsburgh-based socially conscious rock singer-songwriter, will appear today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Youngstown State University’s Cushwa Hall Room B112.
Admission is free and open to the public. Stout’s appearance is part of the Energy and the Environment speaker series.
Wick Avenue is closed for reconstruction, but there is ample free parking at the on-street metered-parking spaces along nearby streets. Anyone needing assistance getting to the room should call the YSU Student Security Service at 330-941-1515.

Concerts include high school bands
NEW WILMINGTON, PA.
R. Tad Greig, music professor at Westminster College, will launch the Music with Friends concert series Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Orr Auditorium, with the Westminster Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band. Chamber music by the saxophone quartet, coached by James Flowers, will begin at 6:45 p.m. in Orr lobby. The concert is free and open to all.
Each concert in the series will feature an area high school band. For Friday’s concert, it will be the Beaver Area High School Concert Band.
The next concert will be March 3 with the Wind Ensemble and the Wilmington Area High School Symphonic Band.
Raising money for Youngstown film
