Trumbull grand jury indicts Canfield man on theft charge

A Trumbull County grand jury Tuesday indicted Paul F. Theisler Jr., 65, of Andrews Court, Canfield, on a charge accusing him of stealing at least $1.5 million from Warren Fabricating and Machining Corp.

Theisler worked for the company 38 years and was chief financial officer until the company discovered financial irregularities a couple of months ago and reported it to law enforcement. The charges accuse him of stealing from January 2005 to Dec. 9, 2016.

The charge carries a penalty of up to 11 years upon conviction convicted. Theisler is free on bond.

The grand jury also added four more sex charges to other charges pending against Michael L. Peach, 40, of Trumbull Drive in Niles.

One additional gross-sexual-imposition count and three child pornography charges are included in an indictment handed up in common pleas court.

Peach already was charged with two counts of gross sexual imposition from Nov. 23, 2016, involving a 9-year-old boy. A third count of gross sexual imposition from Nov. 6, 2016, has been added.

Also new are three charges accusing Peach of using the same boy in nudity oriented material or performance also Nov. 6.

Peach also is charged with multiple counts of felonious assault, kidnapping and failure to comply with the orders of a police officer, and single counts of aggravated burglary, attempted kidnapping, aggravated robbery, intimidation of an attorney, victim or witness, retaliation and possessing criminal tools.

He’s in the county jail in lieu of a $1 million bond.
