Robbers take cash, cigarettes from Warren dollar store

WARREN — Two masked men who may have had a gun robbed the Family Dollar store, 2186 Parkman Road N.W., at 9:21 p.m. Saturday.

A clerk reported that a male wearing a mask and having something wrapped in his hand approached her while she was in an aisle.

He put his hand on her neck and shoulder area and shoved her to the checkout area and nearly knocked her down as he called her a derogatory name.

The other male, who also wore a mask and had a book bag, took about 20 packs of cigarettes from near the register.

One of the men took cash from the register, and both men fled.

Police were unable to locate them, but they did find a bandana behind the store and took it into evidence.
