Lecture planned on history of Santa

YOUNGSTOWN

The Mahoning Valley Historical Society will present Dr. George Johnson at noon Saturday for a lecture on the history of Santa Claus. Johnson will speak in the Carriage House behind The Arms Family Museum. The lecture is included with regular museum admission.

The lecture is part of “Memories of Christmas Past” at the Arms Family Museum, 648 Wick Ave. The exhibit is open through Jan. 7. Admission is $7 for adults, $6 for seniors (60 and older), and $5 for children (3-18). Hours are noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday and noon to 7 p.m. Thursdays.
