God’s Quad concert


Bethel Friends Church, 2771 Spitler Road, will host a concert featuring God’s Quad at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. There is no charge to attend.

Poland churchs plan annual Spirit Sunday


The Poland Community Churches will have their annual Spirit Sunday with the theme “Miracles of Jesus for Poland” at the Poland Village Gazebo, across from the Poland Library, at 6 p.m. Sunday.

Messages based on Jesus’ miracles will be presented by participating pastors with refreshments to follow. All are welcome to gather for this evening of worship, song,and fellowship.

Bring blankets or lawn chairs for seating. The rain location is Poland Presbyterian Church, 2 Poland Manor.

Pilgrim Baptist to host Family, Friends Reunion


Pilgrim Baptist Church, 67 McClure St., will host a Family and Friends Reunion from Aug. 18-20. The theme for the reunion is “Come Back Home,” and the scripture is Genesis 28:15.

The three-day event will include a Friday Greet from 4 to 7 p.m. and a Saturday picnic. The 11 a.m. Sunday message will be delivered by guest speaker, former Associate Minister, Rev. James Crawley of Jacksonville, Fla.

Concert will feature Tom Walker Family


The Tom Walker Family will be in concert at 6 p.m. Aug. 20 at Woodworth Park. Also appearing will be the Good News Blenders.

This outdoor concert is being sponsored by four area churches: Calvary United Methodist, North Lima Mennonite, The Gate and Paradise Church. Attendees are asked to bring their own lawn chairs.

Outdoor summer Shabbat Service set


There will be an outdoor summer Shabbat Service at 6 p.m. Sept. 1. The service will be hosted by Joan and Audrey Schwebel at 6120 Glenwood Ave. Extension.

A light supper will follow the service.

Dramatic recitation


Boardman United Methodist Church, 6809 Market St., will host Allan R. Mosher as he presents a 20-minute, dramatic recitation in the King James Version of the Holy Bible of The Epistle of Paul the Apostle to the Ephesians.

The presentation will take place at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 5. A discussion will follow. This event is free, and all are invited to attend.

‘REBOOT! Live!’ event


Chris Stefanick will present an event called “REBOOT! Live!” on Sept. 19 at St. Charles Church, 7325 Westview Drive.
